Scholar Strategy Network (SSN) 

SSRI invites you to join Chris Witko (SSN central PA co-chair) and Erica Frankenberg (SSN member & SSRI Associate Director) for a discussion of SSN, a national organization connecting scholars, journalists and policymakers, to improve public policy and strengthen democracy. Chris will discuss SSN’s mission and national-level support for scholars, as well as ways to get involved with the local chapter and with influencing policy in Pennsylvania. Erica will share some of her experiences supported by SSN to share research findings with policymakers in Pennsylvania and nationally. After their presentation, there will be Q&A as well as time to meet one another and brainstorm for future activities.
