Penn State is a member of the Science Coalition, comprised of more than 50 of the nation’s leading public and private research universities dedicated to public messaging in DC and across the nation. The Coalition aims to sustain the federal government’s investment in fundamental scientific research as a means to stimulate the economy, spur innovation, and drive American innovation.
Recently, The Coalition sponsored the second annual Fund It Forward Student Video Challenge. Two video submissions from Penn State are among the six finalists for People’s Choice Award:
- Maria Isabel Da Silva, graduate student, Animal Science / College of Agricultural Sciences and Physiology / Eberly College of Science
- Logan Coomes, undergraduate student, Biology, Penn State York
The winner will be awarded $500. Voting is open now and will close at 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, November 17. Each voter can cast a vote for only one finalist among the six.
