On Tuesday, March 28, 7-9:30 pm, we will be hosting a film Screening of the documentary “Our American Family” in 112 Woodland. This film focuses on a family that is supporting loved ones as they work through their substance use issues and recovery process. For more information visit: https://www.abington.psu.edu/community/our-american-family Following the screening, we will have a panel discussion with two of the family members, Nicole and Bryan, who are featured in the film. We will also have Carla Sofronski, Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Harm Reduction Network (PAHRN), on the panel to discuss local resources for those facing substance use issues. We’ll have light refreshments starting at 6:30 pm, and we’ll start the event at 7 pm. |
