PRI Mentoring Coffee -MAY 4, 2026 / Networking at conferences / Mary Shenk

Hi all,

We are writing to update you on the PRI mentoring coffees for the rest of the semester.  Please mark your calendars for two sessions:

• On April 20, 9am, we welcome Steven Haas, professor of sociology & demography and director of PRI's scientific core. He will lead a discussion on giving and receive critiques, so come with your questions and thoughts about how to deal best with reviewer 2!
• On May 3, 9am, please join Mary Shenk, professor and head of Anthropology.  Mary will lead a discussion on networking at conferences.  This will be very timely given that many of us will be heading to PAA later that week.
