The Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing’s Center for Nursing Research (CNR) has announced its Seminar Series for the 2025-26 semesters. This seven-part series virtual series is designed to advance nursing research by fostering collaboration between researchers to bridge the gap between research theory and application. The series offers participants the chance to explore ongoing research initiatives, expand evidence-based knowledge, and contribute to the development of clinical best practices and interventions aimed at improving patient outcomes. Seminars are free and hosted virtually from noon to 1 p.m. Advanced registration is required and can be accessed here. Fall 2025 seminars: Sept. 3 — Responsible Conduct of Research and AI
Sept. 10 — Utilizing Existing Large Databases for Observational Study
Oct. 8 — Structural Equation Modeling: Principles and Practical Considerations

Feb. 11 — Ethics in Research Part 1: Applying the Basics of Truth, Trust, and Transparency
March 18 — Ethics in Research Part 2: Informed Consent and AI Consideration
April 8 — The Potential to Advance Nursing Using Social Network Science
The college is an approved provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. |
