Bio: Liying Luo is an Associate Professor of Sociology and Demography at Penn State. She studies quantitative methods, cohort and generational processes, and health disparities.  She contributes to these areas by developing new models and providing new empirical evidence for explaining trends in socioeconomic inequality and health disparities among demographic groups.
