| Description |
Resilient Kitchens is a collection of essays by food writers, activists, chefs, etc. on immigrant foodways, particularly surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. It is a really moving look into the ways that immigration and culture shape identity, foodways, and community, particularly during a crisis. Harry will talk about the book, its authors and themes, as well as current reflections on immigration and our food system. You do not need to have read the book to join! A portion of his time will include a Q&A. |
