- New - AI Research Seed Grant Program to support new interdisciplinary research in the Social and Behavioral Sciences
Eligibility: Eligible Principal Investigators (PIs) and co-PIs are Penn State faculty across Commonwealth and rank.
Financial support range: up to $20,000
The Penn State Center for Social Data Analytics (C-SoDA) and the Consortium on Moral Decision-Making (CMDM), in collaboration with the Social Science Research Institute (SSRI), invites seed grant proposals to support research in AI in two major areas: 1) Analytic AI and 2) AI and Society. The call will support innovative, interdisciplinary projects that either apply artificial intelligence (AI) and data science to advance understanding of social and behavioral processes or examine the societal, ethical, and human dimensions of AI.
