The Pennsylvania Center for Latino Research at Penn State Harrisburg will host Nicole Kreisberg, assistant professor of public policy an Social Science Research Institute cofunded faculty member, for a presentation on undocumented migration in the United States.

The event will take place on Oct. 14 in room 210 of the Capital Union Building on the Penn State Harrisburg campus. Lunch and networking will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by Kreisberg’s presentation at noon.

The event is free and open to the public. Registration is requested. The registration form can be found online.

Kreisberg will discuss undocumented migration in the U.S., including her work on “U.S. Migration Metrics,” a website that shares estimates and projections of the undocumented population in the United States. She will also discuss her research on how Latino immigrants across a range of legal statuses transition from college to the workforce.

The Pennsylvania Center for Latino Research, housed within the Institute of State and Regional Affairs, focuses on supporting Hispanic and Latino communities by conducting research to inform public policy related to community development.
